Álvaro Hernández Rivera
As part of my daily life I am always looking for new experiences, I am enthusiastic about adventure and exploration and I have always been passionate about experiencing the world's wildlife.
I studied the bachelor's degree at Universidad Veracruzana. I have carried out samples from sea level to 4000 m.a.s.l. learning about the main ecosystems in my state, Veracruz, which is the third most diverse state in Mexico.
Through my master's degree research, I studied how urbanization can affect beneficial insects as well as how social perception can have large implications for conservation. I am currently studying a doctorate in science at the Institute of Ecology A.C.
